The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.
Possession of a current and valid license as a practical nurse under the Massachusetts Board of Registration required. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health conditions preferred. Basic computer skills - MS Word, Outlook preferred. The LPN will work with a team including a Registered Nurse, Residential Managers and staff to ensure the health of the individuals in the home. Responsibilities will include implementation of ISP objectives and healthcare plans. This may include assisting with tube feeding and tube medication administration, wound care, catheter and ostomy care, diabetes management, attending medical appointments, participating in ADL skill development etc. The LPN will participate in other duties as directed by Residential Management staff.
